Welcome the New Era.
Buster Posey Starts behind the plate for the first time at the major league level. He caught all 9 innings.
The Giants beat the Reds 6-5. Buster went 2 for 3. Zito went 5 and 2/3s giving up 5 earned runs.
The Giants came from behind in the top of the 7th when Juan Uribe drove in Freddy Sanchez and the Pandabear. Casilla and Mota Held the lead while Brian Wilson picked up his 15th save.
If the Giants can do something with Aaron Rowand and the Panda it looks like a run at the west coast title in easily within reach.
Clubhouse chemistry is vital at this point. It's not that people are against change; it's that people don't want to be forced to change. Molina needs to be reassigned to AAA or moved.
If Madison Bumgardner gets the call, we could see yet another dynamic in the Giant clubhouse.
Perhaps now Aubrey Huff can go back to first and Pat Burrell can get some PT in LF.
Ace out.
