The 8th Inning Horror show continues

The day before it was Guillermo Mota giving everyone in Green and Gold and free ride. Yesterday in the 8th LHP Runzler takes a Sweeney bouncer back to the mound. Takes a deep breath, collects his composure, then fires Mr.Spalding into the right field Bull Pen. LOL, Sweeney ends up on 2nd, then scores on a base hit making the score 5 - 2. It really looked like the start of another bad day in the pen.

They left Runzler in to get out of it, but he couldn't. So lets try Guillermo Mota AGAIN. Mota made thins so exciting getting 1 out and giving up 2 free base on balls. So in comes Hyro Garcia. I mean,,,er,,, Santiago Casilla. (same guy) Santiago struggles but only gives up a hit and a walk but closes out the came.

Brian Wilson had gotten up in the 8th but with Huff's solo shot in bottom of the 8th, Wilson sat down and Casilla finished of the game.

Matt Cain only gave up one earned run in 7 innings and lowered his era to .205 while Vin Mazarrow who truly pitched his but off, pitched 6 innings giving up 6 hits and 3 runs. Two of his hits were gondies to Aubrey Huff (10) and Juan Uribe (10).

Buster Posey is on an 0 for 8 streak, but so are many great hitters during this interleague play.

Note to Brian Sabean: The Giants are 10-5 since May 29th when Buster joined the club. If you subtract Molina's O for days and insert Burrel or Huff's productive days, the Giant record might read more like 13-2.

But hey that Molina sure can call a game ya know?
